  2. This file contains common Questions & Answers to SF-FAM.

  4. Q:SF-FAM will not read the file_id.diz in a file. I know there's one
  5.     in there.
  6. A:Make sure the temporary directory shown in the SF-FAM configuration
  7.     exists. SF-FAM will not create it.
  8.   Make sure pkzip, arj, or lha is in your path, or the current directory.
  9.  
  10. Q:SF-FAM will either not read my SFFILES.BBS, or it will lock up while
  11.     loading an area.
  12. A:SF-FAM was created to work with the SFFILES.BBS format. Some other 
  13.     programs may create an SFFILES.BBS that is not in the correct
  14.     format. I have tried to take as many of these situations into 
  15.     account as possible. However, I cannot anticipate all possible
  16.     variations. 
  17.     If SF-FAM locks up while loading an area, the problem is most likely
  18.     in the SFFILES.BBS.
  19.     First, check to see if the SFFILES.BBS has any obvious problems.
  20.     If it looks okay, you may zip up the SFFILES.BBS and upload it to:
  21.         Freedom City 602-747-5415
  22.     or you may crash it to:
  23.         1:300/604
  24.         169:6021/109
  25.     In addition, if you can tell me what program may have caused the 
  26.     problem, it will help.
